ÁMG is a Merchant Banking firm located in New York City specializing in technology, financial services, alternative energies, media, health care, and consumer products.

The Company was formed to effect businesses in the spirit of the late André Meyer, who was Lazard Frères' Senior Partner, building it into one of the most successful investment banking firms in America. André Meyer invented the term "Financial Engineering" and was referred to as "The Picasso of Banking," a statement that guides ÁMG's current effort.

Charitable Efforts

Dr. Laurent M. Gerschel, a founder of ÁMG, is chairman of the Laurent and Alberta Gerschel Foundation, and has been a leading philanthropist to the top teaching hospitals in New York City. Dr. Gerschel has also been a supporter of new nuclear medicine centers, such as The Laurent and Alberta Gerschel Nuclear Medicine Center at prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City.
